Scope of Services: The Knox Area Rescue Ministry is a non-denominational Christian ministry to the homeless and downtrodden in the Knoxville, Tennessee area. The ministry offers food, shelter and counseling. Seeking to expand their ministry, KARM contacted Falconnier Design Co. to design their outdoor ministry area, known as "Crossroads". The scope of services included master planning and phasing of the site, design of a pavilion as well as parking access and handicap accessibility. The project will be executed in multiple phases, the first of which is a new "Crossroads" entrance to the building and the outdoor pavilion. The outdoor ministry area will allow KARM to help minister more effectively to more people, as well as providing a stronger connection to the surrounding community.
